Celebrate Valentine’s Day at Home

If you are not feeling up to dining out to celebrate, we suggest making the most of having a nice Valentine’s Day at home this year. We put together a list of delicious treats you for take out/to go.

We have some yummy ideas across the Front Range for Valentine’s Day at home.

If you’re close to Boulder, Café Aion is selling at home paella kits. Making a gourmet dinner at home sounds really educational and delicious to us! Pick up hand made truffles or baked treats at Piece, Love, & Chocolate to round out the meal.

There are too many options in Denver to list, but all of Bonanno Concepts have excellent to go options for the evening. You can read through the options here.

Also in Denver, Hinman Pie is selling heart-shaped cherry and chocolate hand pies. Heart-shaped desserts are fun, especially when they’re professionally made pies. They come in packages of two, so one for you and one for your sweetheart. Yours Truly Cupcake has a Valentine’s cupcakes and macaroons box. You can enjoy a variety of sweet treats with some leftovers for the next day. Sherry’s Soda Shoppe is taking orders for ice cream cakes.

Barista Spirits coffee inspired whiskies pair well with desserts. The three bottle set includes Americano Whiskey (a bourbon whiskey paired with Guatemalan coffee beans), Aztec Whiskey (a rye whiskey paired with Ethiopian coffee, Saigon cinnamon and Madagascar vanilla beans) and Mocha Whiskey (paired with Brazilian coffee and chocolate).

Our Fort Collins friends might consider Ginger & Baker. They’re offering take home fondu kits and you can either get dessert right from their bakery or head around the block to Nuance for bean-to-bar chocolate truffles.

And last but not least, Hemptimacy Cream, a new edible intimacy cream, just launched here in the Front Range of Colorado. This hemp cream is created from the mind of an excellent chef and happens to be edible. So, just floating that idea out there 🙂
